Pherris is a New York City-based producer, DJ, and musician whose passion for music began at an early age. Raised in a musically rich environment, thanks to his mother leading worship at their church, Pherris found music to be both a refuge and a source of inspiration throughout his youth.

After completing his university studies, Pherris relocated from Buffalo to NYC, where he began playing guitar and bass for a variety of R&B artists at some of the city's most esteemed venues, including SOB’s, The Bitter End, and NYC Summer Stage. Recently, he has been dedicated to producing his own music, earning recognition with his edits and remixes featured on prominent radio stations and channels such as The Lot Radio, On The Radar, ‘Aprtment Life’, and Book Club Radio.

Pherris’s sonic palette is heavily influenced by 90s hip-hop, R&B, soul, gospel, and house music. Much like his music production, his DJ sets traverse multiple genre's, and are often anchored by rythmic drums and bass lines with high energy and danceability.

Pherris is the co-founder of Bisou Bisou Radio, a music collective aimed at building community and celebrating local DJs, producers, and artists propelling music forward.
